Solo developer 0x00 has been building Floor796 since 2018. It’s a massive animated pixel-art world packed with characters and references from games, movies, anime and internet culture. The interactive browser project includes easter eggs, mini-games and quests, and despite nearly a decade of work, it’s still only 62% complete, with new sections taking around 1–1.5 months each.

Swedish indie studio Moonmilk Games is building Cave Expedition using photogrammetry and binaural audio captured during real caving expeditions. The team built a custom pipeline that turns cave scans into blendable 3D textures, while recording water, ropes and equipment underground to recreate authentic cave acoustics. The upcoming co-op sim has already picked up 25,000 Steam wishlists in one week.

Microsoft has released NetRumble, a complete multiplayer reference game built in Godot 4 to show developers how Xbox features fit into a real shipping game. The open-source sample demonstrates PlayFab multiplayer and lobbies, Xbox sign-in, invites, achievements, voice chat, moderation, cloud saves and networking, with the same code able to run on PC and Xbox Series X|S through console-capable Godot forks.
